Shram Mandir Colony
Shram Mandir Colony is like a small village consisting of two Hostels, six dormitories for elderly and disabled persons and about 170 quarters for other residents. Staff quarters are also there on the premises. Currently 400 inmates stay under the aegis of the organisation.
Throughout the year, festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm by the inmates. Tours are also arranged. New people come to stay at the organisation and some people move to other places. Babies are born and some elderly people pass away too. Once in awhile music programmes, Bhajan and lectures are also organised. Donors, social workers, students, volunteers and guests visit the organisation and meet the inmates. Thus with visitors and programmes the campus stays vibrant.
This department of SMT provides best services to the inmates. Tea, breakfast, and food are daily prepared here. Every day the team cooks for inmates. Annapurna Bhavan arranges for the fruits and milk for patients under treatment, milk for children, special refreshment and food for persons observing fast.
RO Water plant
Water available from Shram Mandir area is hard and polluted. Hence this water is processed through RO plant for the use and distributed to inmates for their consumption.
Shram Mandir has flour mill to grind grains. This place provides platform for social gathering to inmates and women coming from surrounding villages. When women come for grinding, they definitely find some time for chatting. Flour Mill department has provided benches to facilitate women coming there.
There are two shops in Shram Mandir out of which one is General Provision store and other is Government grain shop. Inmates get essential items at concessional rate.
Temple is the heart of Shram Mandir, which houses all Deities. In the institute, the celebrations of all festivals start from temple.
